Media Research Conference 2010, Kathmandu
The transformation that Nepali media has undergone after the popular movement of 1990 is truly remarkable. This sector has influenced Nepali public life in important ways, Academics/ researchers have paid attention to various facets of this influential sector. However, Nepali media researchers have not come together to share and discuss their work in a conference setting. It is against this backdrop that Martin Chautari  (MC) is organising a Media Research Conference on 25-26 March 2010 (12-13 Chait 2066) with the aim of bringing together researchers. Through this conference MC hopes to augment critical and interdisciplinary discussion on various aspects of Nepali media. We welcome presentations of research papers based on recent research.
